"The very gifted Leonard Schreiber is certainly an artist to
watch out for, his gorgeous tone admirably filling the large

after a concert with the

at Adrian Boult Hall "The young Belgian violinist
Leonard Schreiber was the fine soloist, unfussy and
wholehearted, in Bruch's evergreen first concerto. There was
an apt brooding intensity in the prelude and while
Schreiber's performance of the famous adagio was romantic he

late romantic showpieces, Kreisler's Liebesleid and
Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen, was delightful - the latter's
gypsy-inspired technical pyrotechnics delighting us all.
